Learn to Lift

Welcome to Learn to Lift!

Join us for this 4 week workshop series where we will focus on four different foundational barbell movements.  You will learn how to safely warm up and perform this lifts as well as how to feel more confident lifting in the racks and on the platforms.  Whether you are looking to learn the lift for the first time or you are looking to improve your technique on the lift to get more out of it this workshop is for you.  The upcoming workshops are listed below with dates and time.  Sign up for them all or choose the ones you are interested in.

This workshop can be a great way to develop these lifts and work towards progressing them to heavier weight over time.  If you are looking to develop and improve some of these common lifts don't miss your opportunity today. The next sessions are running on the following dates 

  • Squat - DATE/TIME

    • A workshop focusing on the squat movement.  Learn warm-up exercises and technique tips for both the barbell back squat and the barbell front squat.  You will have the opportunity to try both these exercises and receive feedback from a trainer to help improve your form and master the movement.  â€‹

  • Deadlift - DATE/TIME

    • A workshop focusing on the deadlift movement.  Learn warm-up exercises and technique tips for both the conventional and sumo deadlift.  You will have the opportunity to try both these exercises and receive feedback from a trainer to help improve your form and master the movement.  â€‹

  • Push/Pull - DATE/TIME

    • A workshop focusing on the bench press and the bent over row movements.  Learn warm-up exercise and technique tips for both the bench press and the bent over row.  You will have the opportunity to try both these exercises and receive feedback from a trainer to help improve your form and master the movement.    

  • Hip Thrust  - DATE/TIME

    • A workshop focusing on the hip thrust and hinge movement.  Learn warm-up exercises and technique tips for both the hip thrust and the kettlebell swing (hinging movement).  You will have the opportunity to try both these exercises and receive feedback from a trainer to help improve your form and master the movement.  â€‹

If you are ready to get started you can register for the workshops below.  We highly encourage you to attend all workshops in order to get the most out of the program but you can choose which ones you would like to attend.  There are no additional fees for this program as long as you are a current student with an active membership.
